BREAKING NEWS: Boko Haram Bombs Prison, Frees Members

Reports reaching Olufamous.com from Yobe State is that the dreaded Islamic sect, Boko Haram has kept to its threat once again that it would carry out another strike on Sunday June 24. This time the attack was on Damaturu, a city that is already under a 24-hour curfew.

Sources say bombs and explosives were freely used in the premises of the Damaturu prison where security intelligence confirmed that some Boko Haram agents are being held temporarily.
It has been very difficult for those on ground in Damaturu to take pictures and provide more details because of the curfew in the area and also the prison is said to the close to the Emir's Palace on Gashua road and anyone caught there may have his/her to blame.

Olufamous.com gathered that Boko Haram agents arrested in the area are kept at the Damaturu prison for a short period before they are eventually transferred to Abuja, to join their counterparts who are scattered in different detention facilities.

However, as a result of the curfew, we could not get exact information about casualties from the attack which was said to have taken place on Sunday morning. The Damaturu prison is usually manned by few wardens and it is unlikely they would be able to match the fire power from Boko Haram members.
