The
Police in Kano have arrested four persons for allegedly planting a time
bomb at Waje Friday mosque in Fagge Local Government Area of Kano
State. The Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Rilwanu Dutse, confirmed
the arrest of the suspects in an interview with the News Agency Nigeria
(NAN) in Kano on Friday.
He said the suspects were apprehended around 1.30 p.m. on Friday
after they abandoned the explosive, which was concealed in a polythene
bag.
