The crisis of mismanagement of funds rocking the Securities and Exchange
Commission, SEC, has gotten worse as the 'stubborn' Director General,
Ms. Arunma Oteh, was on Tuesday locked out of her office on the orders
of the board.
Olufamous.com gathered from sources that Ms. Oteh is, "in her usual manner", challenging her suspension and has vowed to fight the Board's decision.
Olufamous.com learnt that Ms. Oteh arrived the SEC building located in
the Central Business District of the FCT, Abuja, on Tuesday morning
looking beautiful, only to discover that the locks to her office had
been changed overnight.
Findings revealed that the locks were allegedly changed on the orders of
the Udo Udoma-led Board which suspended her on Monday night after a of
long meeting. The board also ordered that the allegations of
misappropriation against should be properly investigated.
